Carousel Horse - Girl

I decided this pattern would be a good one to add some embellishments and I decided to go through my stash of goodies left over from other projects to see what I could come up with.

I used two metalic threads on the pole. Kreinik #102C and #002C. The second color is darker than the first so it gives it a bit of shadow effect. I used three strands and stitched on top of the original gold colors in the pattern. This helped keep the white fabric from showing through.

I used pearl and pink Mill Hill glass seed beads #00479 and #00968 around the saddle and gold colored Create A Craft beads #63031 in the center of the two purple "stars" on the horse.

Finally, I added two ribbon accessories by Stylish Accents #15259 to the mane and tail.
