Standard Pattern Information - Return to Prices / Information
The patterns are printed on 24 lb paper using a laserjet printer. The pattern is loose leaf to make it easier to add to a magnetic board or holder that you use while stitching. The pattern is printed in an easy to read size and includes symbols made up of the alphabet, numbers and basic symbols. (See the information on Large Print for examples.) Also included is a floss chart. It shows the number and name of each DMC thread you will need. It shows how many stitches there are for each color along with an estimate of how many skeins you will need of each color. The chart also matches up each color with the symbol associated with it in the pattern. There is an instruction sheet that includes some tips and washing instructions as well that comes with each order.
The cover page has a full color print out of the original piece of art. Also included is a full color print out of the finished piece in virtual stitches. This print out is generated by the computer program I use to create the patterns. It will be reduced in size, but should be a nice guide to use along the way. As a bonus, you will also receive a DMC Shopper's List. This consists of one page that has all the DMC floss numbers with a check box next to each number. Very nice to have when shopping for your colors. There are full cross stitches only. No half, quarter or backstitching required. Each pattern lists the finished dimension sizes for 14, 18 and 22 count aida cloth. If you prefer to stitch in a different size, just indicate that in the additional instruction box available during checkout. All of this comes in a top loading sheet protector to keep the pages together and in clean condition. |
