The Magpie, 1869 [MN37]
$8.00

This piece works up to be just as beautiful as Monet's painting.
The house is hidden in a morning haze of soft smoke from the
chimney. The trees are covered with soft snow drifts as well as
the fence. The heavy drifts on the fence leave lovely shadows on
the deep snow, and one lone magpie sits on the fence, looking
at the beauty of the morning. I enjoyed every stitch I did on this
piece.
